Bolton Hill saw a lot of change in October!

Construction crews began spreading rock over the west side of the site.

The center of the sports field began to have underground drainage dug and piped in. Heavy equipment dug out trees, underground rocks, and a ton (literally) of dirt! 

And after underground drainage on the east end was finished being tarped, the construction team began spreading rock across the site.

Veneta Budget Committee Vacancy

The City of Veneta is also soliciting applications to fill a budget committee vacancy.  Members are appointed for a three-year term of office. The term for the current vacancy ends December 31, 2028. Meetings will be held as needed, beginning in May of 2026, and will run through June of 2026.

Budget Committee members review the City's proposed budget, gather citizen input through public hearings, and recommend an approved budget to Veneta City Council. 

Filing Deadline: January 31, 2026
