- This station works on a pre-paid card basis. Similar to a prepaid debit card.
- All bulk water customers must go to the City of Veneta Administration Center located at 88184 8th Street to set up their account.
- A one-time set up fee of $25 will be charged to set up the account and to issue a bulk water card.
- Funds must be loaded onto the card prior to use and can only be loaded by taking the card to City Hall.
- There is a 2% surcharge based on the amount you load onto your card (for example if you add $100.00 to your card, the charge will be for $102.00)
Fees for the Cornerstone Bulk Water Station are set by Resolution of the City Council.
The station features a user interface that allows the customer to use their card to purchase bulk water. The user must provide their own fill hose complete with a female cam-lock fitting sized to their needs. The station is equipped with both a two-inch and a three-inch connection. The City recommends the three-inch connection only for users that purchase 1,000 gallons or more at a time.
The water station was installed largely to make purchasing bulk water from the City more convenient. Please contact Veneta City Hall with any questions regarding the Cornerstone Bulk Water Station - 541-935-2191.
