Veneta Planning Commission Vacancy
The City of Veneta is soliciting applications to fill a Planning Commission vacancy. Members are appointed for a four-year term of office. The term for the current vacancy ends January 24, 2030. Regular meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Planning Commission members make recommendations to the Veneta City Council on matters concerning planning and development. Members also make land use decisions based on Veneta’s current ordinances; including approval of partitions, subdivisions, site plans, variances, and conditional use permits.

Veneta Budget Committee Vacancy
The City of Veneta is also soliciting applications to fill a budget committee vacancy. Members are appointed for a three-year term of office. The term for the current vacancy ends December 31, 2030. Regular meetings will be held once a month, beginning in May of 2026, and will run through July of 2026.
Budget Committee members review the City's proposed budget, gather citizen input through public hearings, and recommend an approved budget to Veneta City Council.
